Critics Consensus
Although it never comes close to the classic capers it seeks to emulate, Sharper is just sleek and clever enough to pass the time.

Linda Marric The Jewish Chronicle While Sharper’s genius resides in its ability to successfully outwit its audience, at no point does it feel laboured or in the least predictable. Rated: 4/5 Mar 3, 2023 Full Review Anna Smith metro.co.uk Moore is tremendous; other performances vary perhaps a little more than they are meant to... Rated: 3/5 Feb 25, 2023 Full Review Ty Burr Ty Burr's Watch List (Substack) A fun watch with friends and family or a solo evening’s light diversion, the kind you replay the next day in your head to see how it all fits together. Rated: 3/4 Feb 22, 2023 Full Review Tamma Moksha The Hindu Told from multiple points of view, the low-brow twists and non-linear narrative in this tale of deceit and manipulation — with the rules changing every few minutes — leave us disappointed. Jun 11, 2024 Full Review Robert Roten Laramie Movie Scope The movie ends with a very satisfying conclusion. The fact that it is so satisfying more than makes up for the fact that the story's resolution is not very believable. Rated: B Jan 27, 2024 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com …at some point in Benjamin Caron’s film various characters are seen using, and being satisfied by, Apple’s patented brand of ear-buds, and that’s about as close as Sharper gets towards social commentary… Rated: 3/5 Oct 31, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
Sabrina M Absolutely amazing! The entire cast rocked it. The way the movie went back and forth was so interesting. Kept you on your toes the entire time. Sebastian goes between devilishly charming to bratty and he does both so well. Rated 5/5 Stars •Rated 5 out of 5 stars02/12/23 Full Review Mary S Solid performances all around. The ending felt a bit implausible, but satisfying enough that I didn’t mind. Rated 3.5/5 Stars •Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars04/21/24 Full Review Joanna F Great cast… the storyline has potential…. But it's a total waste of time… you can see the ending from a mile away. Rated 2/5 Stars •Rated 2 out of 5 stars03/31/24 Full Review Avindu G Great story telling while climbing up the chain of con artists. Great visuals that fits well with each moment that captures the emotional dilemmas of each character. Equally good camera work capturing each character's and situation's nature. Excellent audio and video effects. Background music is refreshing. Unique dialogues that awakens consciousness of audience to stay focused on the story. Plot is certainly thrilling yet the final act by the aggrieved party didn't do much justice to the story up to that point. However the conclusion is satisfactory and anticipated yet presented in the most twisted and unexpected way. That's what make Sharper a must watch. Rated 3.5/5 Stars •Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars03/22/24 Full Review Alex M To be fair, this is not my type of movie. I thought this might be a heist film or something similar, but it is very much a drama, I guess maybe you could call it a mystery/thriller, but it felt like a slog. I'm sorry, but it felt quite melodramatic (Stan is so over-the-top it was tough for me to watch) that if I'm John Lithgow, I'm wondering if I've been cast in a two-hour episode of Days of Our Lives. Sure, there were unexpected turns, but I think a lot of it was telegraphed, even if you weren't looking to spoil the movie yourself; no reveals were really earth-shattering. Rated 4/5 Stars •Rated 4 out of 5 stars02/03/24 Full Review Read all reviews

The Fall Guy won't be changing the industry, but it does make for a very good time at the movies. Fresh score. It just delivered what it set out to do. It was funny, it was entertaining, it was romantic, and the stunts was cool.
Violence: Mild cartoon violence (getting hit by objects and pushing players off of a platform). No blood/gore at all and the violence is very very mild and is very safe for young kids! Language: NO language at all! Sex/nudity: Nothing at all for Sex/nudity!
The Fall Guy has the cast and the premise to launch a billion dollar action comedy franchise but its aggressive, almost militant desire to be a rom-com that also happens to have action in it combined with its everybody-be-Paul-Rudd-ironic comedy is the cinematic equivalent of a pickle and peanut butter sandwich.
1. Game of Thrones. Nine noble families fight for control over the lands of Westeros, while an ancient enemy returns after being dormant for millennia.
Frequent fast-paced action sequences that are rather comedic which include punch-ups, shoot-outs and a single pen stabbing with no blood detail. Fair amount of gunplay and shooting by protagonists and antagonists.
Some Cleavage scene In the movie by a lead actress. At the opening scene, a husband and his wife kiss after he catches her from a jump. A woman confesses to having an affair with another woman's husband for 4 months.
A sequel to The Fall Guy has already been written, confirms Ryan Gosling - and he's read the entire thing. As the actor reveals to Fast Company, he wants to keep telling the story of his character Colt Seavers, a stuntman tasked with tracking down the missing star of his ex-girlfriend's (Emily Blunt) blockbuster film.
