MapleStory Inner Ability Guide - AyumiLove (2024)

List of MapleStory Inner Ability that you can gain based on the Inner Ability Ranking (Rare, Epic, Unique, Legendary). All three Inner Abilities are unlocked at Level 50 upon completing the quest by clicking on the light bulb located on the left of the in-game screen.

Rare

All Stats Increase
Increases final all stats. Not affected by any stat % increases.
Level 01-06: 05-10 (Rare)
Level 07-12: 15-20 (Epic)
Level 13-18: 25-30 (Unique)
Level 19-24: 35-40 (Legendary)

Damage Increase to Monster with Abnormal Status
Deal more % final damage to monsters inflicted witih darkness, stun or freeze status.
Level 01-06: +2~3% (Rare)
Level 07-12: +4~5% (Epic)
Level 13-18: +7~8% (Unique)
Level 19-24: +9~10% (Legendary)

Buff Duration Increase
Increase the time which buffs last for. Certain skills are not affected, like Hyper Skills, Oz Ring Buffs, 5th Job Skills and skills that specifically states so.
Level 01-06: +7~13% (Rare)
Level 07-12: +19~25% (Epic)
Level 13-18: +32~38% (Unique)
Level 19-24: +44~50% (Legendary)

HP/MP Increase
Increases your Maximum HP/MP. Affected by HP/MP % increases.
Level 01-06: +75~150 (Rare)
Level 07-12: +225~300 (Epic)
Level 13-18: +375~450 (Unique)
Level 19-24: +525~600 (Legendary)

Meso Obtained Increase
Increase amount of mesos obtained from monsters. Stacks with values from equips, Phantom Union Attacker effect, Union’s Wealth Buff and Rune of Greed.
Level 01-06: +3~5% (Rare)
Level 07-12: +8~10% (Epic)
Level 13-18: +13~15% (Unique)
Level 19-24: +18~20% (Legendary)

Item Drop Rate Increase
Increase item drop chance from monsters.
Level 01-06: +3~5% (Rare)
Level 07-12: +8~10% (Epic)
Level 13-18: +13~15% (Unique)
Level 19-24: +18~20% (Legendary)

DEF Increase
Increase DEF stat. Affected by DEF % increases.
Level 01-06: +50~100 (Rare)
Level 07-12: +150~200 (Epic)
Level 13-18: +250~300 (Unique)
Level 19-24: +350~400 (Legendary)

Instant Kill Chance in Aswan Supply Mode
At a small chance instant kill monsters in Aswan Supply Mode.
Level 01-06: +2~3% (Rare)
Level 07-12: +4~5% (Epic)
Level 13-18: +7~8% (Unique)
Level 19-24: +9~10% (Legendary)

Damage Increase to Normal Monsters
Deals more % damage to regular monsters only. Increase shows up in damage range as Damage% (this ability is ignored when calculating damage against boss monsters).
Level 01-06: +2~3% (Rare)
Level 07-12: +4~5% (Epic)
Level 13-18: +7~8% (Unique)
Level 19-24: +9~10% (Legendary)

Primary Stat Increase

Increases Weapon/Magic ATT. Affected by Weapon/Magic ATT % increases.

(Jump/Movement Speed) Increase
Jump: Increase jump height. Cannot exceed 123%.
Speed: Improves walking speed. Cannot exceed Movement Speed cap.
Level 01-06: 04-08 (Epic)
Level 07-12: 10-14 (Unique)
Level 13-18: 18-20 (Legendary)

Critical Rate Increase
Increases chance of a critical hit.
Level 01-06: 05-10% (Epic)
Level 07-12: 15-20% (Unique)

Damage to Tower Increase
Increase damage dealt to towers in Aswan Occupy and Attack mode
Level 01-06: 04-08% (Epic)

Cooldown Skip Chance
At a chance cooldown is not applied when you use a skill with cooldown. Certain skills are not affected, like revive skills, passive cooldown skills, Hyper Skills, 5th Job Skills and any other skills that specifically states that.

Level 7-12: 15~20% (Legendary)

HP/MP/DEF Percentage Increase
Increase HP/MP/DEF by a percentage
Level 01-06: +5~10% (Unique)
Level 07-12: +15~20% (Legendary)

Legendary

Attack Skill Target Increase
Increases number of monster hit by your attack skills. Affects all skills except skills which hit only 1 monster. Max targets: 15.
Level 1-6: +1

Attack Speed Increase
Increase attack speed. Does not break Attack Speed cap (though if you have broken it, this line can boost it even further)
Level 1-6: +1 level

Weapon ATT Increase by Level
Increase Final Weapon ATT by your character level. Not affected by Weapon ATT % increases. Weapon ATT increased is rounded down.
Level 1-1: +1 per 16 levels
Level 2-3: +1 per 14 levels
Level 4-5: +1 per 12 levels
Level 6-6: +1 per 10 levels

Magic Attack Increase by Level
Increases Final Magic Attack based on character level. Not affected by Magic Attack % increases. Magic Attack increased is rounded down.
Level 1-1: +1 per 16 levels
Level 2-3: +1 per 14 levels
Level 4-5: +1 per 12 levels
Level 6-6: +1 per 10 levels

Passive Skill Level Increase
Increase passive skill level (skill that gives effect permanently). Does not apply to active skills with passive effects (but passive skills with active effects are affected) 4th Job Passive Skill Master Levels can be broken with this ability. 5th job skills not affected.
